As our country celebrates its independence each year, I think it's also a great time to reflect on the freedom we, as Christians, have in Christ. One way to do that is through music and I invite you to check out these praise and worship songs that sing about freedom. (Originally published in 2016).

Robin Mark is a Christian songwriter, singer, and worship leader from Belfast in Northern Ireland. Because he adds his own Celtic flavor, Mark's music is unique in the genre of contemporary Christian music. His "Revival in Belfast" CD is still one of my all-time favorite albums! So many good songs were nominated for Song of the Year at the 2011 Dove Awards. Some of them I have nearly forgotten about (like "Let the Waters Rise" by MIKESCHAIR) but others have become timeless worship songs. (Originally published in 2011.)
