My Top 10 Blog Posts of 2025

Before getting to my Top 10 Blog Posts of 2025, I want to say how amazed I am that this blog continues to get the views that it does, especially since so many people say that blogging is becoming outdated. (This year alone my blog received over 81,000 views!) Videos and podcasts are all the rage these days, but I have always been a bit old school.  One reason I keep up with my blog is that it offers a creative outlet and doing it helps me feel less stressed. It also reminds me that this is one project that I started and have continued. (I love to start new projects but have a hard time keeping them going or finishing them. I will try to work on that this year!)  Yet one more reason is because I want to give God glory for all that He has done in my life and use the gift that He has given me to hopefully be a blessing and an encouragement to others.  In 2025, here were my most-viewed blogs:  10. Field Trip to the Belle Mehus Auditorium

Today Faith got to take a field trip to the Belle Mehus Auditorium to enjoy "Singing in the Season" put on by the Central Dakota Children's Choir.

Faith and I made our way to the auditorium and then waited for her class to arrive. I was a little unprepared for the number of kids there were in attendance. Every first grader in the Bismarck/Mandan area was on this field trip! After we met up with Faith's class, we sat in the beautiful auditorium and enjoyed the concert.

Faith liked the Christmas trees!

Faith was a little nervous when the lights were turned down. And when people applauded, she did startle a bit. But she definitely enjoyed the music! All in all, I think it was a very good experience for her.

I am so happy she gets to be included in these kinds of things at school!
